Job Description

The Chief Administration Officer (CAO) plays a vital role in providing strategic leadership and ensuring the smooth operation of our organization. This position collaborates closely with the CEO and senior leadership team to further our mission, promote a positive workplace culture, and empower our dedicated team to achieve organizational goals. Key Responsibilities

Strategic Planning & Leadership

Partner with the CEO and senior leadership to guide strategic planning efforts that align with our mission, vision, and values.
Drive operational excellence by establishing clear objectives, key performance indicators (KPIs), and metrics for success.
Cultivate a culture of continuous improvement, innovation, and collaboration across all functions, providing support and guidance to managers.
Administration

Support the Sr. Director of Administration in overseeing IT, Compliance, Benefits Management, and Facilities.
Provide strategic direction for IT infrastructure and services, ensuring reliability and security in collaboration with external vendors.
Manage benefits-related matters and assist in the maintenance and security of facilities, ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations.
Oversee insurance coverage and ensure all organizational needs are met.
Finance

Direct and oversee financial management systems and procedures for accurate reporting.
Collaborate with external finance vendors to prepare and present regular financial reports to the CEO and Board of Directors.
Analyze financial performance, identifying trends and opportunities for improvement, while ensuring program budgets align with financial goals.
Manage the annual audit and tax filing process.
Human Resources

Oversee the human resources function, focusing on recruitment, onboarding, performance management, and employee relations.
Ensure compliance with employment laws and regulations, fostering a culture that prioritizes emotional well-being and inclusivity.
Champion DEI initiatives to create a supportive work environment.
Key Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in business administration, management, finance, or a related field; advanced degree preferred.
Proven experience in a senior leadership role, preferably in the nonprofit sector, with oversight of operations, finance, or human resources.
Strong financial acumen with experience in budgeting and strategic financial planning.
Demonstrated ability to drive operational excellence and optimize resources.
Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills, capable of engaging diverse stakeholders.
Commitment to advancing DEI initiatives and fostering an inclusive workplace.
Knowledge of mental health or related fields is a plus.
Salary & Benefits

Starting salary of $150,000/year, adjusted based on experience and skills.
