What youll do: 

  • ServiceNow development tools and techniques, including scripting in JavaScript, Jelly, and AngularJS. 

  • Enhances existing ServiceNow functionality and deploys new capabilities across various ServiceNow modules, ensuring platform optimization and alignment with business goals. 

  • Develops and configures solutions within the Now Platform to meet evolving business needs and improve operational efficiency. 

  • Works within the IT Business Management (ITBM) module to support the management of business portfolios, demand, and project delivery. 

  • Supports IT Service Management (ITSM) processes by designing and configuring workflows and automating business services. 

  • Utilizes Performance Analytics (PA) to build and enhance reporting dashboards and provide actionable insights for decision-makers. 

  • Implements and optimizes Customer Service Management (CSM) solutions, enabling seamless interactions between customers and service teams. 

Minimum Requirements: 

Education: 

  • Bachelor's degree in information systems, Computer Science, or related scientific or technical field and three (5) years minimum of relevant experience  

Experience: 

  • Five (5) years of proven experience as a ServiceNow Developer with a strong understanding of the platform's architecture and capabilities. 

  • Demonstrated experience working on large-scale projects in diverse team environments with a focus on ServiceNow development tools and techniques, including scripting in JavaScript, Jelly, and AngularJS. 

  • Strong understanding of ITIL framework and best practices. 

  • Experience with ServiceNow modules such as ITSM, ITOM, ITBM and CSM. 

  • Experience integrating ServiceNow with other systems using APIs, web services, and middleware technologies. 

  • Ability to design and implement automated workflows to streamline processes. 

  • Familiarity with cloud computing concepts and platforms (e.g., Azure)  

  • Hands-on experience with ServiceNow development tools and techniques. 

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to work closely with stakeholders to translate business needs into technical solutions. 

  • Strong analytical skills and problem-solving abilities, especially when working with large, complex datasets. 

Preferred: 

  • Experience with utilities applications. 

  • Experience with any of the following: AI, Machine Learning, IoT, ArcGIS, RPA, ServiceNow, PowerBI, FileNet, Oracle Utilities Suite, and Multi-cloud environments. 

Clearance:  

  • The ability to pass a background check is required.
