What youll do:
ServiceNow development tools and techniques, including scripting in JavaScript, Jelly, and AngularJS.
Enhances existing ServiceNow functionality and deploys new capabilities across various ServiceNow modules, ensuring platform optimization and alignment with business goals.
Develops and configures solutions within the Now Platform to meet evolving business needs and improve operational efficiency.
Works within the IT Business Management (ITBM) module to support the management of business portfolios, demand, and project delivery.
Supports IT Service Management (ITSM) processes by designing and configuring workflows and automating business services.
Utilizes Performance Analytics (PA) to build and enhance reporting dashboards and provide actionable insights for decision-makers.
Implements and optimizes Customer Service Management (CSM) solutions, enabling seamless interactions between customers and service teams.
Minimum Requirements:
Education:
Bachelor's degree in information systems, Computer Science, or related scientific or technical field and three (5) years minimum of relevant experience
Experience:
Five (5) years of proven experience as a ServiceNow Developer with a strong understanding of the platform's architecture and capabilities.
Demonstrated experience working on large-scale projects in diverse team environments with a focus on ServiceNow development tools and techniques, including scripting in JavaScript, Jelly, and AngularJS.
Strong understanding of ITIL framework and best practices.
Experience with ServiceNow modules such as ITSM, ITOM, ITBM and CSM.
Experience integrating ServiceNow with other systems using APIs, web services, and middleware technologies.
Ability to design and implement automated workflows to streamline processes.
Familiarity with cloud computing concepts and platforms (e.g., Azure)
Hands-on experience with ServiceNow development tools and techniques.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to work closely with stakeholders to translate business needs into technical solutions.
Strong analytical skills and problem-solving abilities, especially when working with large, complex datasets.
Preferred:
Experience with utilities applications.
Experience with any of the following: AI, Machine Learning, IoT, ArcGIS, RPA, ServiceNow, PowerBI, FileNet, Oracle Utilities Suite, and Multi-cloud environments.
Clearance:
The ability to pass a background check is required.
