Job Title: Ultrasound Technicians

Location: Decatur, GA 30033

Start date: Feb 2025.

Duration: 1 year (options for 26 weeks or fulltime)

Shift times: 40 hrs / week (Days or Nights Weekends and weekdays 8 to 4:30 or 2PM to 10:30PM)

Qualification:

Certifications: ARRT American Registry Radiologic Technologists / American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography ARDMS Certification

Experience : Minimum of two years' current experience in this field and recent Ultrasound Technologist experience in a hospital setting including covering inpatient units, ED and ICU.

Responsibilities

• Regulatory Compliance adheres to Nuclear Regulatory and Radiology Service policies, including ACR guidelines and the Radiology Quality Improvement Program.

• Imaging Equipment Management prepares, test, and operate imaging equipment, ensuring accurate radiation field measurements and compliance with ALARA principles.

• Patient Interaction explains procedures clearly to secure patient cooperation and confidence, while following all safety and identification protocols.

• High-Quality Imaging performs and acquire precise radiographs and scans, ensuring data is accurately incorporated into the PACS system for Radiologist interpretation.

• Documentation and Record Keeping maintains detailed records of patient exams, contrast studies, and imaging details, updating patient notes in the CPRS system within the required timeframes.

• Support and Collaboration provide assistance during employee absences, ensure proper use of materials, and report unusual incidents to supervisory staff.
